On August 28,2011 the Choctaw Apache Tribe of Ebarb installed new officers/ leaders and a tribal council. The covered dish social/ installation was held at 2 pm at the VFW Hall in Zwolle. Over 200 persons were in attendance along with candidates for public office and elected officals. Installed were John W. Procell, Tribal Leader, Jason (Jake) Rivers, Vice-chairman, Pamela Cartinez, Secretary and Virginia Malmay, treasure. Council members elected to serve were; Robert Caldwell, Ione Durr, Susan Lee, Rebecca Samples, Joann Sepeda and Tom Rivers. Serving as mcee for the day were Bruce and Buffy Malmay of Zwolle. The day began with a welcome from John W. Procell thanking everyone for their attendance and dishes of food. Mrs. Joann Harris of the Four Winds Tribe led everyone in prayer. She beautifully expressed the "Our Father" in sign language & music. Erica
